june IComLeavWe

Hello everyone! If you have not been here before welcome! If you have, welcome back! You can read a little about me here and my timeline here.

First I wanted to thank everyone for all your sweet, caring comments on my last post. I still get so overwhelmed, in a good way, when people comment and show they care how I am feeling and all the Hugz make me feel great!

So, where I'm at. Well we just got a BFN on our 5th medicated IUI cycle. Our RE recommended doing 3 with clomid and 3 with follistim. We are going to take a month off before we do our last IUI with follistim in July-August. If it doesn't work then we will be moving on to IVF hopefully in September. September will also be our 3 years TTC mark.

I was on the fence about taking a break. For months I have been talking about going to visit my cousin and Godson for his 1st Birthday, but that would mean skipping this month. I would be in NC at the time I would need to be doing follicle checks and possibly the IUI. The Hubby pushed me and reminded me how I wouldn't want to miss Little L's 1st Birthday and how relaxing and fun it is when I visit. He also reminds me that we have waited almost 3 years, we can handle another month. So, I bought my plane tickets and I leave in 6 days! I really can't wait! There will be wonderful company, great food,  lots of drinks, tons of sun and relaxation. I will be spending a lot of time at the pool. I haven't been in a bathing suit in a year and it will be nice since I am 15lbs lighter!

I love IComLeavWe! It is so awesome to find new blogs and hand out lots of love and Hugz in comment form! I found a whole bunch of new blogs last month, but they are still sitting in different tabs at the top of my browser. I have to get to them and add them to my reader so I can keep up! To all of you that I said I can't wait to check you out I will be there soon! Don't you hate it when real life gets in the way? LOL!

Hope everyone has a great week and finds lots of new freinds!

  1. Thanks for your sweet comments. It's good to be missed. I feel like I'm living in a dream. How did this happen overnight. I feel like we have hope again. I have been read your blogs since I left, just not commenting, you know how hard it is when your living on hold. I'm so sorry IUI isn't working. Hang in there, I know you'll get your baby!

  2. I think it's good that you are taking a break. I did 6 iuis before IVF as well. We had a few more breaks than you due to scheduling issues, which was frustrating, but also really beneficial. Some time with your family (and in a pool...good god this heat in Boston, what I wouldn't give for a pool right now...) will do you some good!

  6. Breaks can be good - I'm in the middle of one myself! Some R&R does the body & mind good.

I noticed in your "About Me" section that you play WoW - I actually met my husband through WoW, his brother was my guild leader and the hubs was that guy that the one time he ever talked on vent he caused the raid to wipe because no one knew who the heck he was :P. We don't play anymore (sometimes I really miss it) but I'm always glad to see another chickie out there who does!! I played alliance on Malfurion (originally started out on Sargeras) Had more mains then I could probably count but tended towards playing healers (I had them all - they were like my pokemon), now my poor characters sit abandoned :(

Have a nice time on your trip and best of luck with your next cycle when you get back!

    1. Hi Tara! That is awesome how you met your Hubby on WoW! Yea we have a couple of those people that don't talk and when they do the raid goes crazy and usually wipes. I actually only have 1 main. It's a fury warrior. We started on horde on cenarian circle and then followed friends to alliance on suramar. My Hubby is like you he has a ton of toons. He is actually raiding as I type this. I took a break when we started treatments. I will go back just don't know when. I'm too busy crocheting right now. Heading over to your blog now!

  7. I'm so sorry about the BFN, my fingers were crossed for you. But I am glad to hear that you are taking a breather from treatment for a cycle. It sucks because its one less cycle, but sometimes we just need a bit of time to recoup and just re-energize yourself emotionally and physically. Enjoy your visit and vacation!

When you come back and are ready for your next cycle, we will be here supporting and rooting you on! <3
