i'm sorry...edit

EDIT: I am going to put the pics back. I still do not want to upset anyone, but I really like the pics I had. I think the clomid really heightened my feeling of guilt. Feeling guilty is a big problem for me and I don't think I should be feeling guilty for this. I need to work through it not just "fix" it. I hope you all understand.  From now on I will not be editing my posts.

Original post:
I want to apologize for the pictures in my last post. I stupidly didn't think and put pictures of baby's feet sticking out of the blanket. I guess I was just thinking it wasn't belly or US pics which I would never post on my main page. I apologize to anyone I may have upset. I should have put a warning. I never wanted to hurt anyone. I changed the picture.

  2. Sweetie don't be upset! Your blankets are lovely and thoughtful. I was only saying that I personally can't knit baby blankets anymore. I hope you don't feel bad on my account. Trust me, I can take cute baby feet, it may hurt a little, but they are still soooo cute :)

    1. I love baby feet too. I just don't want to hurt the people I have grown to love. I forget sometimes how babies can upset because in the IF community it doesn't bother me. I enjoy all the bellies, US pics and babies from everyone here because I am truly happy and excited for them.

  3. PS And you should never have to feel like you should edit your posts. You have every right to be proud of those blankets and proud of your work. You are strong and generous in a world where many women are small and petty because they are having trouble conceiving.

  4. Sorry I missed the original post. I agree with Chickenpig, you shouldn't have to feel like you need to edit your posts and I am sorry you did.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures when you put them back up. :)

p.s. Thanks for the comments recently. Your blankets sure would keep a person warm in the cold weather we're having here. :) Now it's time for me to go snuggle under mine (all 3 layers of them) and head to bed.

  5. I got to see the original post because it doesn't leave my reader. I loved it and I love that last baby blanket. Absolutely gorgeous. It's unfortunate that it upset someone, but that was so clearly not your intention and you shouldn't have to censor yourself in the one place you can truly be you.

  6. Babies are just adorable. I didn't find it at all offensive. Remember this is your blog. If they don't like it they don't have to look!

  7. Blogger has a "cut" option, where some of the post is readable and the rest you have to click a link to read. IF you want to consider those who might be upset at baby pictures you could put those pictures behind a cut next time, but you really don't have to if you don't want to! You can also put a warning at the top so people don't have to scroll down... but like I said, up to you. You didn't intend to hurt anyone's feelings!

This happened to me a few weeks ago, I was posting pictures of cute maternity outfits. No one was upset but someone reminded me that it could be difficult for people to see the belly pics, so I put them behind a cut. But I didn't take them down, because I am still happy to look at maternity fashion, so I wanted to post it. My intention isn't to hurt anyone's feelings and I think I am doing a reasonable amount of work to keep from accidentally hurting anyone else's feelings, and that's all I can really do.

  8. Wow, it honestly never occurred to me that people would be upset over baby feet. Honestly, at some point we all have to live in the real world and that might mean seeing a baby once in awhile. I'm glad you put it back, this is your blog and you should put the pictures that make you happy.

  9. I got to see the original post too and I'm so glad I did! Don't feel bad. The blog is for you, and it's so important for you to say what you want to say, and not have to edit. I'm glad you put the pics back!

  10. I'm glad you decided to it back. I thought it was an adorable picture. It is a fine line we walk here, I guess, but ultimately, your blog is your space to say what you want to say. In this community, we never know when we might be faced with something that is upsetting, be it someone's BFP, a belly shot, u/s photo, or even a terrible story of loss. I'm always prepared because this is the world I blog in. But I never fault someone for saying/sharing what's on their mind. I just scroll on by if it's too hard that day.

The blankets are beautiful. I love the random stripes!
